Thank you Brianna for the amazing suggestion on staying at these cabins! I’ll never go to another place again when I’m staying in Jasper! Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the parking is so easy. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially if you ask for ideas on day activities and tourist attractions! The area is perfect and has a beautiful river right beside the campground which is so nice to walk down and look at. The restaurant that’s in the same building as the front office has a very tasty menu as well! It’s also very close to downtown Jasper and other beautiful areas! I highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Jasper.
We just stayed for two nights on a family trip, in units 49 and 51. Though the bungalows are dated, ours were clean and cozy. The real gems here are the location and the restaurant! Enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage next to the Athabasca River; there are plenty of chairs set up to pick your perfect spot. You may see elk wandering around if your timing is right. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE ELK VILLAGE RESTAURANT. We had dinner there twice, with everyone getting something different each night, and it was all fantastic. We were blown away by the quality, taste, and presentation of the food. I would love to visit here again in the future. Thank you, Jasper House!
What a beautiful accommodation. We booked the riverside junior suite and really enjoyed it. The suite had everything you need in my opinion. It offers a stunning view. The staff was very friendly. The elk village restaurant right next to the bungalows was delicious and had a great variety of dishes (breakfast and dinner). Mount whistlers is right in front of the bungalows.
We love our stay at Jasper House Bungalows and definitely would recommend it to our friend and family. The location is increasable! Some updates in the room would be nice (newer furniture for example, hooks for the jackets near the front door), but kitchen had everything we need for cooking, complimentary coffee, comfortable bad with different choices of the pillows from thick to thin (that my husband loved!); bungalow was clean, everything worked (lights, fridge, etc.), the friendly staff. We had some issue with our bungalow and the General Manager resolved the problem very well (thanks a lot!). Overall, the great place to stay.
Jasper House Bungalows were definitely a highlight of our trip to the Canadian Rockies. We visited shortly before 2024 July wildfire. Cosy accommodation with beautiful views placed near a river. Great place if you want to enjoy the nature away from crowded city, but still very close to Jasper town. Thanks to its unique location, we were able to see wildlife around this place . Although quite expensive, we did not regret this choice! Would definitely visit again!
Loved our stay at Bungalows. Very peaceful and quiet, you can sit at their red chair and watch the river flowing or see some elks nearby. Staff very nice and helpful if you need anything. A little bit pricy but worth it.
Amazing breathtaking experience. Light high on budget but worth every penny. A group of elks passed the camp. Room 25 is the best with both mountain and river view. A trail that leads to the river and bear claws marks all around. Loved it.
These bungalow lodges were much better than the typical hotels we had been staying at during our trip through Alberta, Canada. We were originally booked in one that was right in the middle of the parking lot that baked in the sun. Since there was no air conditioning and I had a heat intolerance, this was unacceptable. What made this place memorable was the front desk person, Ashley. What a compassionate sweetheart. She went out of her way to accommodate us with better shaded lodging, luggage assistance, fans, ice etc. and maintained a more cheerful disposition than anyone on our entire vacation. You are blessed to have her. The easy access to the river shore was a bonus. Longer riverside hiking trails also accessible, which led to gorgeous mountain views looming over the meandering aqua river valley.
